Horizontal structures of the frame (beams and joists) are used to receive the load from roof, floor and technological equipment, and transfer that load to columns of the frame. Joists are horizontal secondary beams employed to receive the load from light roofing material, and transfer that load over to main beams. Main reinforcement of joists is composed of pre-tensioned wire ropes. The protective concrete layer can withstand fire within 60 minutes. Joists offer a very wide sphere of application, ranging from warehouses, logistical centers and industrial workshops, to trading centers featuring light roofing materials. |

Fixation of beams and joists |
Typically, pitch of joists range from 3 to 4.5 m. The pitch of main beams, and the subsequent length of joists, may vary within 6 - 14 m.
Connection of joists to main beams is done via anchors. Joists are positioned over anchors protruding from main beams. To prevent destruction of beam edges, points of support for joists are fit with neoprene pads prior to installation of joists.
