Concrete T-shaped chief beams area type of reinforced concrete main beams (junction elements) that serve as support for covers and beams. T-shaped chief beams have flanges on both sides for slabs to rest upon. They are used in construction as junction elements of the carcasses of structures of different height and purpose, as well as support for multiple cavity slabs. Slabs rest upon both flanges of the beam, which increase the reliability of the construction.

Марка прогону складається з літерно-цифрових груп, розділених дефісом. Перша група містить позначення прогону (ПРГ – прогон прямокутного перерізу) і габаритні розміри (довжина, ширина, висота), округлених до дециметрів. Друга група включає цифрові позначення розрахункового навантаження (без урахування власної ваги), вираженої в тоннах на метр і клас арматури.
